GDH Consulting Inc., a leading employment agency, announced today the appointment of two industry leaders to key positions within its Professional Services division. These appointments will provide GDH clients with expert guidance and insights from two proven innovators with decades of experience.
Walt Plonski has been appointed Director of Professional Services. Perry Jurancich has been appointed Cybersecurity Practice Director

With nearly four decades of experience in consulting services, Walter Plonski is an accomplished executive focused on driving solutions for clients.
“GDH is a highly successful and well-regarded company. The culture and integrity they exhibited when I was their customer made it an easy choice when they wanted to create a professional services team,” Plonski said. “The professionalism and energy from the people at GDH will feed the success of the Professional Services group.”
Previously, Plonski worked at Cisco Systems in increasingly senior roles, most recently directing government services at the state, local, and education levels. There, his teams of engineers, architects, and project managers developed transformational solutions to government clients. He previously led Professional Services efforts to deliver collaborative strategies to Cisco clients.
Prior to joining Cisco, Plonski served as national systems integration director of Inteliant and as a business process systems consultant for IBM.
Plonski has won several awards for sales and consulting success. He earned a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science from SUNY-New Paltz and an associate’s degree from Ulster County Community College.
Perry Jurancich brings 21 years of experience in the technology sector, after retiring from the U.S. Air Force with two decades of technology leadership and law enforcement.
Jurancich previously held senior roles at Technology Integration Group, Booz Allen Hamilton, Cox Communications, Verizon, Fiberlink Communications, and SAIC.
In his previous roles, Jurancich has created Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) solutions, developed and deployed multi-vendor cybersecurity platforms, and oversaw cybersecurity solution development engineering teams. His teams have developed smart card identity management authentication systems, electronic prescription solutions, and multi-factor authentication identity tools.
Jurancich is a regular presenter on cybersecurity topics. He holds the following certifications: SANS GSEC Gold, ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), and VLSS Black Belt.
